Model 12 FV

The Savage Model 12 FV is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .204 Ruger, .223 Rem., and .22-250 Rem. The Model 12 FV is one of nine rifles in Savage’s Varmint 12 Series. Savage Arms was founded in 1894, and is headquartered in Westfield, Massachusetts.

The FV features include a internal box magazine, swivel studs, checkered grip, and Savage’s AccuTrigger system. The AccuTrigger system features a dual-stage trigger design. The first (vented) trigger acts to disengage a safety mechanism, allowing the second trigger to be depressed in order to activate the firing pin. The trigger assembly is also user-adjustable for weight of pull. The Model 12 FV is drilled and tapped for scope mounts.
Savage recommends the Model 12 FLV for varmint/general hunting.
