Model 14 Classic

The Savage Model 14 Classic is a bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in .308 Win., .243 Win., .270 WSM, and .300 WSM. The Model 14 Classic is one of eight rifles in Savage’s Classic Series. Savage Arms was founded in 1894, and is headquartered in Westfield, Massachusetts.

The Model 14 Classic features a carbon steel barrel, blued and finished in matte. The Classic includes a natural wood stock with a satin finish, with checkered grips and fore-end. Additional features include a hinged floorplate, swivel studs, a black forend cap, and Savage’s AccuTrigger system.

The AccuTrigger system features a dual-stage trigger design.  The first (vented) trigger acts to disengage a safety mechanism, allowing the second trigger to be depressed in order to activate the firing pin. The trigger assembly is also user-adjustable for weight of pull. The 14 Classic is drilled and tapped for scope mounts.
