Model 460XVR

The Smith & Wesson Model 460XVR is an extra large-framed revolver chambered in .460 Mag. S&W is the largest manufacturer of handguns in the United States. Headquartered in Springfield, Massachusetts, the company was founded in 1852 by Horace Smith and Daniel B. Wesson.

The Model 460XVR features an 8.38″ barrel and an overall length of 15″. The Model 460XVR employs synthetic grips, a single-action/double-action trigger assembly, and a stainless steel frame. The Model 460XVR also employs a HI-VIZ brand red dot front sight making it easier for sight-alignment, and an adjustable white outline rear sight. The Model 460XVR has a 5-round stainless steel cylinder, an external hammer, a muzzle brake, and a satin stainless finish.

The Model 460XVR matched with the 200-grain cartridge can reach a velocity of 2,400 feet-per-second. S&W recommend the Model 460XVR for handgun hunting.
