Millennium Pro

The Taurus Millennium Pro is a series of semi-automatic medium-frame pistols chambered for .32 ACP, .380 ACP, .40 S&W and .45 ACP. The Millennium Pro series was introduced in 2005 by Taurus as a self-defense pistol. Taurus is known for producing affordable handguns and replicas.

The Millennium Pro features checkered polymer grips, a single-action/double-action trigger, and the Taurus Security system. TSS allows the gun to be completely disengaged and rendered inoperable with the simple turn of a key. Another safety feature is its loaded chamber indicator, which is red strip of metal that protrudes from behind the ejection port when a round is loaded. It is available with a blackened steel slide, or a bi-tone variant that has a stainless steel matte slide.

The Millennium Pro is equipped with Heinie brand front and rear straight-8
sights, which
uses a blade front sight with a tritium dot and a notch rear sight with a
single tritium dot. In order to effectively use straight-8 sights, the
must align the dots vertically so it forms a figure “8”.

Taurus recommends the Millennium Pro for conceal and open carry. Although Taurus has produced several variants of the Millennium Pro, a handful of them have been discontinued such as the titanium model.
