The XD-40 Sub-Compact holds the same ergonomic pointability as the XD Service Model, naturally raising to the eye and pointing to the target. Its short barrel length of 3.125" makes it an optimal choice for concealed carry, without compromising on accuracy even at defensive ranges.

This polymer-framed striker-fired handgun is designed with a black textured grip for enhanced control and comfort. It is equipped with Springfield's Ultra Safety Assurance (U.S.A.) action trigger system and a grip safety for added security.
