South Carolina's American Tactical Inc is bringing in a new series of German-made large format 9mm pistols that are feature-rich.

ATI was at the 151st NRA Annual Meetings in Houston late last month and one of the latest items they had at the booth was the interesting new GSG-9 pistol. Looking very MP5ish but without the MP5 cost, the GSG-9 is made by German Sport Guns and has a 7.5-inch high precision hammer-forged barrel in an aluminum receiver. Complete with a left-side charging handle, ambi surface controls, and an adjustable trigger, the GSG-9 has M-LOK slots in the handrail and an adapter for mounting a suppressor.

The ATI GSG-9 has an optional sliding and folding stock available for those wanting an SBR and its rear cap fits numerous accessories. GSG has long made rimfire lookalikes of the MP5 and a 9mm replica of the "Schmeisser" MP40 so it is nice to see them pull the trigger on this format, and good on ATI for snagging it for import.

We'll bring you more details on these as they become available.
