Based in Hagerstown, Maryland, the new player in the match-grade ammo component industry will offer brass cups, brass casings, full-metal-jacket projectiles, lead projectile cores, and lead wire. 

First Breach is set to begin production in its 75,000-square-foot facility in July and will offer its components in a wide range of calibers and grains via e-commerce, retail, bulk wholesale, and OEM levels. Although the new company isn't a household name – yet – it is led by a host of folks well-known inside the American firearms industry and has committed to making its components domestically. Importantly, lead products are smelted from scratch in-house at First Breach’s facility, a capability that has fallen by the wayside in recent years. 

First Breach has moved in lots of new machines in the past few months, including case annealing ovens, grooving units, and FMJ transfer presses. 
 

"First Breach takes great pride in the quality of its U.S.-made components," CJ Dugan, the company's senior vice president of business development, told Guns.com. "Equipped with numerous quality control checks, First Breach will offer match-grade, SAAMI-specification products bar none. Customers will have the ability to order custom head stamped casings as well as a wide range of grain size options for projectiles."

Dugan also teased a primer line – which as any reloader or ammo maker will tell you is a big deal – is right around the corner, so expect big things from the company.
