Florida-based Avidity Arms now has a new caliber offering for its flagship handgun, the P10, which will be offered in Federal's new .30 Super Carry.

First teased back in 2016 and since delivered to the market, the P10 has only been offered in a 10+1 capacity 9mm format. A compact handgun with a 4-inch barrel and 18.8-ounce weight, it is a superb candidate for the .30 Super Carry treatment. Due to the reduced diameter of the .30 SC case, that means you can get 12 rounds into a PD10 magazine.

At SHOT Show last month we ran into Rob Pincus, long the driving force behind the P10, and got the 411 on the new model. Almost every part is interchangeable with the 9mm variant and, for those who already own one, a conversion slide and barrel set is available to pull off a gunsmith-free caliber swap. The 30SC PD10 carries the same $625 MSRP as the 9mm version.
