Up Close with the New Smith & Wesson Jerry Miculek M327 Revolver
National treasure Jerry Miculek recently bested his world record for clearing six plates with a revolver, and S&W has a special run of guns to celebrate.
Based on Miculek's specs, the Performance Center Model 327 World Record revolver is a scandium-framed eight-shot 9mm with a titanium cylinder, a 5-inch ported stainless-steel barrel, and a hand-tuned double-action trigger.
We caught up to the new gun last week at the 2024 NRA Annual Meetings in Dallas.
Limited to just 1,880 guns – in a salute to Miculek's 1.88 second record time – the M327 World Record ships standard with a Vortex COMPDOT 8MOA red dot and utilizes Smith's C.O.R.E. system for mounting optics. (Photos: Don Summers/Guns.com)
While an N-frame revolver with a 5-inch match-grade steel barrel and laminated wood grips, the use of scandium and titanium in the frame and cylinder keeps the weight down to 35 ounces.
Note the eight-shot cylinder.
As well as the porting and lightening cuts in the half-lug barrel.
The M327 World Record revolver ships in a branded blue Pelican hard case with a custom foam insert as well as a host of accessories including five moon clips and tools for an MSRP of $3,499.
