On this week's episode of Two Guys One Gun, the crew is joined by former United States Air Force Captain Albert “Reb” Reville to discuss the guns of air combat. Capt. Reville is a former F-15 fighter pilot who served during the Cold War.

It turns out, the nerdiness that you hear from Alexander runs in the family, as his father walks us all the way back to the beginning of flight. As soon as humans started flying, it wasn’t long before we started incorporating the design into combat.  There have been well over 100 years of air combat, spanning over two World Wars, and pretty much every conflict during the 20th and 21st centuries. With so much combat, there has been a natural evolution to the relationship of the gun and the airplane over the years.

A true master of his craft, Capt. Reville is well versed in aircraft history and takes us through a journey of air combat. While it may be long, it is thorough and captivating to hear a veteran of aerial combat break down this history of guns and planes. So, sit back, relax, and make sure you don’t have anything to do for the next hour and a half.
