Rost Martin Shows off New RM1C Pistol at NRAAM 2024
A Texas-based handgun startup has been making waves with its new American-made pistol, and Guns.com got the story on the ground in Dallas at the recent NRA Annual Meetings.
Rost Martin kicked off 2024 with its flagship RM1C, a 9mm striker-fired polymer-framed handgun based on the Arex Delta Gen 2 that has many of the features today's gun buyers are looking for but without a premium price.

Standard features include an optics-ready slide – the RM1C ships with an RMR plate while others are available. Meanwhile, the sights are steel – not plastic – and are dovetailed into the slide with a common Springfield XD pattern.
Note the non-glare top slide serrations, like what you see on old S&W "Wondernines."
The controls are mirrored on the right side of the RM1C, making the gun ambidextrous, while the trigger is decent, breaking at 5-6 pounds. Ergonomics are good, including front and rear slide serrations, while the pistol ships with three interchangeable backstraps to adjust the grip geometry.
It has both a loaded chamber indicator and a cocked striker indicator.
It ships with two magazines, a 15-shot flush fit, and a 17-round extended mag, and it accepts standard CZ P10 mags.
The Rost Martin RM1C, which is available in three colors, has an MSRP of $459, a price likely lower at retailers.
