Hi-Point Launches New Large-Format Pistols in 9mm, .45 ACP, 10mm for 2025
Hi-Point Firearms’ budget-friendly 995, 4595, and 1095 carbines have all been very successful for the company. However, there has been a shift in the industry as the demand for shorter pistol versions of full-size designs continues to grow.
This led to a massive increase in pistol-category firearms that have the ability to mount a stabilizing brace, and Hi-Point has taken note of that trend. For 2025, the company launched its new 995P, 4595P, and 1095P pistols chambered for 9mm, .45 ACP, and 10mm, respectively.
These large-format pistols will all come with threaded barrels and a Picatinny rail where the stocks were previously located. The 995P chambered for 9mm will host a 13.25-inch barrel, while the 4595P and 1095P will offer a 14.25-inch barrel for their respective .45 ACP and 10mm chamberings.

Removing the back plate on these new large-format pistols also reveals a standard AR-style connection for a buffer tube on the receiver just under the Picatinny rail for more brace options. Additionally, the guns will feature a QD mount for a sling.
The final upgrade to the line is found in the new front-sight post. Hi-Point decided the large pistols deserved a HiViz fiber-optic front post, allowing for finer feats of accuracy.
Unfortunately, this time, Hi-Point does not plan to allow the internet to name these new large-format pistols like the previous Yeet Cannon. However, don’t let that stop you from spamming the comment section with creative name suggestions anyway.
