Illinois-based Springfield Armory has refreshed its Saint Victor series rifles and pistols with lots of updated features.

The new standard includes a Radian Raptor LT charging handle, nitride-finished 4150 CMV barrels with a continuous tapered profile, crowned muzzles, and low-profile gas blocks; aluminum handguards with a full-length top Picatinny rail, M-LOK slots, and lots of QD sling points; four-prong flash hiders on threaded muzzles, and an enhanced bolt carrier group. Furniture includes B5 Systems Enhanced SOPMOD stocks, Type 23 P-Grip pistol grips, and polymer trigger guards. Other features include 45-degree ambidextrous safety levers, low-profile aluminum flip-up sights, and flat-faced nickel boron-coated triggers.

So a lot more upper-shelf features.

The 16 new models include 10 5.56 NATO AR-15s and 6 7.62 NATO AR-10s.

Drilling down into the 5.56 line up, you have two braced pistols with 11.5-inch barrels (standard and low capacity), an 11.5-inch factory SBR, two 14-inch pinned and welded carbines (standard and low capacity), and five 16-inch carbines including a California model with a Strike Industries state-compliant "finned" pistol grip, a low cap model, and standard models in black, Coyote Brown, and Tungsten Gray.

Mid-length gas systems are featured on the 14-inch and 16-inch 5.56mm guns, while the pistols have carbine-length systems.

The MSRP runs $1,249 to $1,279 on the AR-15s, with the higher cost models being those with the different colorways or in the pinned and welded format.

Meanwhile, the AR-10s include options with both 16- and 20-inch barrels, and in standard black or Coyote Brown Cerakote, with a finned "featureless" California compliant model, and a low-cap model for other restrictive states. The 16-inch 7.62mm has an intermediate-length system (between mid- and rifle-length) while the 20-inch 7.62mm has a rifle-length gas system.

"Since its launch in 2019, the SAINT Victor line has proven itself as a market leader by providing premium features and impressive performance," said Steve Kramer, Springfield's VP of Marketing. "With these enhancements and updates, the new Saint Victors – in 5.56mm or 7.62mm – stand ready to deliver professional-grade capabilities."
