Bobby and Sabra Cannon told us they’ve never won much from giveaways – until recently, that is. 

Because they’re both red-blooded Texans, gun giveaways naturally pop up on their social media feeds. When we picked the Cannons up from the airport, Bobby recalled sitting in bed scrolling through his social media. He nudged Sabra and told her he was going to enter a giveaway.

“I was blown away when I got a call from Guns.com telling me I had won. I thought it was a prank at first,” Bobby told us in his gruff drawl. 
 

Not only did the Cannons win a Smith & Wesson Model 1854 and an M&P9 Metal FDE TB, but they also cashed in on Gemtech suppressors, a 5.11 tac kit, and a $500 Guns.com gift card. They received all of this plus a trip to Maryville, Tennessee to shoot their guns with world-class instruction at the all-new Smith & Wesson Academy. 

As we do here at Guns.com, we delivered the package in style and gave them some entertainment along the way. While Bobby and Sabra have been around guns their entire lives, they both felt like they needed more training. That’s where Mark "Coch" Cochiolo and the S&W Academy came into play. After a few hours in the classroom and a couple of quick demonstrations on the range, the Cannons were striking steel with like old pros.
