Classy American Legend Returns: Ruger Brings Back O/U Red Label III Shotgun
Ruger unwrapped a special present for American shotgunners on Christmas Eve with the return of the company’s classy over-under shotguns in the form of the Red Label III. These new 20-gauge scatterguns will be available with either 28-inch or 30-inch barrels.
The original Red Label break-action shotguns date back to 1977, and the addition of the Red Label III adds a shotgun to the company’s portfolio as a full-line firearms manufacturer.
"Bringing back the Red Label has been a standing request from our loyal customers," said Ruger President and CEO Todd Seyfert. "By teaming up with Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Company, we're able to deliver a firearm that meets Ruger's standards for durability and reliability while elevating the craftsmanship to a level that honors the legacy of the original. Its return also marks an important milestone for Ruger as we reestablish ourselves as a full-line manufacturer of firearms, reaffirming our commitment to providing a complete lineup of firearms to our customers."
These new guns boast classy lines and a refined pedigree. They are built for Ruger by the premier firearms maker Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Company. Each gun features a beautiful walnut stock with classic checkering and a hand-rubbed oil finish.
