Walther’s booth at SHOT Show 2026 was a popular one, with a lot of credit due to the company’s PDP F-Series Pro-X that was designed in tandem with Parker Mountain Machine.

This new PDP is a more compact version of the popular Walther PDP F-Series designed for female shooters. The F-Series Pro-X features a beveled aluminum magazine well, while the Pro-X PMM is a more compact version of the Pro.

The Pro-X PMM has a threaded barrel to accommodate the Parker Mountain Machine compensator. This makes the platform easier to conceal without sacrificing the flat-shooting nature of the PMM modification. This size offers a more compact, compensated slide, with a full-size grip that uses flush-fit 18-round magazines.

The PDP F-Series Pro-X PMM is not exactly a new handgun, as it did drop in late 2025, but it is finally shipping. Due to the limited production capacity of Parker Mountain Machine, it took some time for the company to spin up these collaborative handguns.
