  4. Magpul's RXM Sub-Compact Grip Module Now Shipping

 

We have repeatedly gone on record as loving the modular functionality of Ruger's new RXM platform, and Magpul just gave you more to love-- in a smaller package.

Ruger delivered the RXM (Ruger x Magpul) platform in 2024 with the striker-fired 9mm G19 clone using a serialized fire control insert (FCI) that can easily be swapped between a Magpul-supplied Enhanced Handgun Grip, or EHG, in much the same modularity as the SIG P250/320/365.

We ran thousands of rounds in evaluation on the platform—including a rigorous 2,500-round long-term torture test—and were convinced of its possibility and adaptability.

Since then, Magpul has delivered the standard (compact) sized EHGs in three extra colors, followed by a full-sized (G17 style) EHG, which was released last Thanksgiving. Now, the polymer accessory godfather has dropped the news that the sub-compact (think= baby Glock) grip is shipping.

Price on the new EHGs is $39, and ships complete with the magazine release and magazine-release spring, slide-lock spring, and takedown-pin spring, which are all manufactured by Ruger.
