On Monday evening, Guns.com was the victim of a malicious cyber-attack designed solely to prevent our business from operating.  This attack was highly sophisticated, was targeted at third parties with which we work, and was designed to take down our website.  The actual attack lasted less than 10 minutes, but damage was temporarily done to our website’s ability to be displayed properly.  There was no indication of any attempt to compromise data – this was purely designed to cause business disruption to Guns.com.

First, we want to apologize for any inconvenience this has caused our customers.  We are working hard to make sure that any and all orders that were impacted are fulfilled satisfactorily, and fully expect to be able to do so.

We also want to reassure our customers that we work with the highest level of security measures, and we have and will continue to take the right measures to make sure this doesn’t happen again.  There is no doubt our business was hurt, and we appreciate the support we’ve received from the entire firearms community.

Our goal continues to be to provide the best site for consumers to safely, confidently, and efficiently purchase firearms and accessories.  We pride ourselves on great service to both our customers and local dealers, who continue to rely on Guns.com to help sustain their small businesses.

We are happy to be up and running again, and we look forward to continuing to serve the needs of customers.  Thank you again for your patience and your ongoing support.
