First introduced in 2013 the SIG Sauer P227 is a full-sized semi-automatic double action handgun chambered in 45 ACP with a double-stack magazine and 101 capacity. The frame is constructed from Nitron finished anodized aluminum alloy and the slide is made from stainless steel. It also features an E2 wraparound grip de-cocker and tool-free takedown. Manufactured in Exeter New Hampshire the P227 is the service pistol of numerous law enforcement agencies across the nation.

Sigs P227 TACOPS is chambered in .45ACP and holds 141 rounds but youd hardly know it from the thinness of the grip. The 227 TACOPS is just 1.5quot wide with a black nitron-colated stainless steel slide with front cocking serrations and a beavertail alloy frame. It features Sigs SRT (short reset trigger) 4-point safety system Truglo tritium fiber optic front sight custom black G1 grip plates with magwell and threaded barrel. The P227 TACOPS comes with one (1) 14-round extended magazine and one (1) 1-round magazine.
