Built on a tried and true platform the Ruger 1022 Takedown is a semi-automatic rimfire rifle chambered in 22 LR that can quickly and easily be separated into two pieces for convenient storage and transportation while the simple reassembly ensures shooting consistency. The cold hammer-forged barrel is made to last and easy to clean and the heat-stabilized glass-filled polymer trigger housing assembly resists impact abrasion and the elements. As with the standard 1022 the 1022 Takedown is available with a wide range of stock options and finishes and is a perfect rifle for plinking small-game hunting and target shooting.
