The SIG Sauer P226 is a full-sized double action or DAK semi-automatic handgun similar to the P220 but with a double-stack magazine and higher capacity. Chambered in 9mm (9x19) 40 SW 357 SIG and 22 LR capacities range from 10 to 20 rounds depending on the model and caliber. The frame is hard-anodized for added durability ergonomic grips offer a positive hold and newer models come with a built-in Picatinny rail on the underside of the frame. Manufactured for more than three decades the P226 is trusted by military and law enforcement personnel worldwide.
