The Spec Series of products from Smith & Wesson offers users premium collectable pistols with a host of upgrades direct from the company and its partners.
Built for performance, the V series package includes a custom M&P9 METAL featuring a Strike Industries compensator, enhanced texturing on the frame, and a steel flared magwell. The steel frame construction adds significant mass to the pistol to help counteract recoil and muzzle flip especially as the center of mass shifts with expenditure of ammunition. A new flat-faced aluminum trigger design favored by competition shooters to aid in consistent trigger finger placement under stress is also included, allowing for more accurate and repeatable shooting. Lastly, the slide features an optic-ready cut for use with Smith & Wesson's C.O.R.E. system of optic plates. The slide also includes the company's ClearSight slide cuts designed to direct gas away from the optic to ensure a clear sight picture even under rapid strings of fire.
This model is chambered in 9mm Luger and features the company's signature gray Armonite finish with blue highlights on the controls, barrel, magwell, and optic plate cover. Three 23-round magazines are included along with a hard case, limited edition Spec Series coin, and tactical knife.
