Designed to fulfill the needs of precision rifle hunters, the CROSS comes with an 18-inch barrel in .308 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor or a 16-inch barrel in the new .277 Sig Fury Hybrid cartridge. With an overall length of 36-inches, the rifle sports a Sig precision folding stock that reduces the rifle's size even further -- down to 25-inches.
Topping off its notable features, is the lightweight build, weighing under 6.5-pounds. Sig says the weight savings paired with a foldable design lends itself to backcountry hunting.

"Whether you're hunting the steep terrain of mountains or densely forested hills, the CROSS delivers PRS performance, built for the backcountry hunter," Sig Sauer said in a news release. "The unique folding and locking precision stock of the CROSS offers toolless adjustment that can be modified for any shooting position while in the field. With folded stock the CROSS measures as short as 25-inches making it the ideal hunting rifle to fit in any backcountry backpack."
The CROSS uses standard AR-15 style controls and AICS pattern mags with added perks coming in the form of an aluminum M-LOK handguard and two-stage match-grade trigger that is adjustable from 2- to 4.5-pounds.
The CROSS arrives soon to dealers with an MSRP of $1,779.
