Nighthawk expands its pistol inventory, adding a new long slide version of its Shadow Hawk, chambered in 10mm or .45 ACP.
Keeping all the same features, the Shadow Hawk Long Slide features a 6-inch barrel length with overall length measuring 9.65-inches. Weighing in at 42-ounces empty, the Shadow Hawk Long Slide offers a 10-round capacity for 10mm but you can request a .45 ACP chambering if that's more your speed.
The Shadow Hawk Long Slide opts for a one-piece magwell/mainspring housing to allow for "quick and sure reloading," according to the company. The M1911 comes stacked with features to include a flat trigger with serrated face, fully adjustable Nighthawk Custom rear sight, tritium front sight, and G10 black and gray spiral cut grips with the Nighthawk logo. The pistol opts for a black nitride finish.
Nighthawk says this pistol fills the void for hunters and competitors looking for a long slide M1911.
"Whether used for hunting or competition, the Shadow Hawk Long Slide delivers the accuracy needed," Nighthawk said on its website.
