Tennessee-based SDS Imports announced this week that their newest overseas treasure brought to U.S. shores is now available, the PX-9 pistol

Produced in Turkey by Tisas, the PX-9 is a full-sized polymer-framed pistol with a 4.5-inch cold hammer-forged barrel that looks similar to the old IM Metal HS2000 of Croatian XD fame. The PX-9 uses double stack Sig P226-pattern mags and ships with two as well as a hard case, holster, a cleaning kit, and a magazine loader.

Other standard features are three interchangeable grip inserts, a frame-mounted ambidextrous safety switch, and fully adjustable rear sights. Unlike the HS2000, it also has front sight serrations, an accessory rail for lights or lasers, while deleting the often disliked beavertail grip safety.

Additionally, there are some new in the box models with Philippine National Police slide markings, so there's that.

MSRP is $379, with the actual price hovering right around that level, which is nice these days.

GunBox Therapy recently did an unboxing.
