With the classic aesthetics of the sadly discontinued Browning Hi-Power, Florida-based EAA is bringing the MC P35 9mm pistol to the American market.

Produced in Turkey by Girsan, a firearms manufacturer that has been around for almost 30 years and has long exported Beretta 92 (Regard) and M1911-style pistols, the MC P35 is a ringer for a Mk. II/III Hi-Power. Featuring a steel frame and slide, 4.87-inch barrel, ringed rather than spurred hammer, a slim trigger, and an ambidextrous frame-mounted safety, the single-action 9mm has a flush-fitting 15-shot magazine.

EAA’s Girsan MC P35
The Girsan MC P35, as imported and distributed by EAA, has an iconic design, and wears a matte black finish and checkered polymer grip panels.

"Made with serious respect for the original Browning Hi-Power pistol design, EAA’s MC P35 pays homage to one of the most widely used military handguns in the world, with its classic styling," notes the company. "Originally designed as a military pistol, the Hi-Power necessitated extreme accuracy and the Girsan MC P35 does not disappoint."

MSRP on the EAA Girsan MC P35 is $528, which is about a third the price of a vintage Browning Hi-Power.
