One of the cooler items we came across at SHOT Show in Las Vegas this week is Ohio Ordnance Work's "no stamps required" M2 SLR .50 cal.
As previously reported by Guns.com, OOW has been teasing the NFA-compliant version of the famed "Ma Deuce" for a minute, and the company showed up with one at SHOT. OOW started shipping finished SLRs to customers last Dec. 7-- Pearl Harbor Day-- and they tell us that orders are brisk and they "can't keep them in stock."
The 115-pound M2-SLR package includes a custom-fitted hard case as well as 200 reusable .50 cal links and an accessory package that includes a cleaning kit, headspace gauge set, ruptured case extractor, and wrench. (Photo: Chris Eger/Guns.com)
OOW says there are no shipments of the SLR to California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, or Washington D.C., due to local restrictions on .50 cals.(Photo: Chris Eger/Guns.com)

The company also had an extensive sampling of its semi-auto M1918A3 BAR rifles on hand.
In both the classic format...
As well as the mother beautiful HCAR variety, complete with 30-round mag option, because sometimes you just want to have 30 rounds of 30.06 along for the ride.
