On Tuesday, FN debuted the third generation of its FN 15 variant in a designated marksman rifle configuration offered in three colors.

Besides its black, gray, and FDE color choices, the FN 15 DMR3 comes standard with a redesigned Hybrid-profile 18-inch barrel with a SureFire ProComp muzzle brake and a Geissele two-stage trigger. Other features include FN’s custom furniture, a Radian Raptor-LT ambidextrous charging handle, and Radian Talon ambidextrous safety selector.

Standard black FN 15 DMR3
FN says the 18-inch cold-hammer-forged chrome-lined barrel uses a 1:8 twist and what the company refers to as a Hybrid-profile "that provides the just-right balance between rigidity for accuracy and a weight light enough for quick maneuverability." The series uses a rifle-length gas system with a pinned gas block and H buffer. Standard black FN 15 DMR3 shown. (Photo: FN)
FDE FN 15 DMR3
FN says the 14.6-inch aluminum handguard uses Hodge Defense’s wedge-lock technology "for an extremely rigid setup that minimizes deflection and allows for a fully free-floated barrel, further aiding accuracy." The rifle has a full-length top Pic rail and M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock on the handguard. FDE FN 15 DMR3 shown. (Photo: FN)
Tungsten Gray FN 15 DMR3
With a mil-spec lower and M16-style bolt carrier group, the rifle comes standard with Geissele's two-stage precision G2S trigger pack with the first-stage pull ranging from 4.25-4.75 pounds and the second from 2.75-3 pounds. Tungsten Gray FN 15 DMR3 shown. (Photo: FN)

The asking price on the new FN 15 DMR3s runs from $2,152 for the basic black to $2,328 for the more colorful models.
