It's almost a wrap on 2022, and we've had some great guns released this year. That can only mean one thing, great gun reviews to boot. Sure, not every gun on this list is new for 2022, but that just goes to show that some guns never lose their appeal.

With 2022 almost in the rearview, we wanted to share with you the reviews you liked the most. Check out the top 10 reviews on Guns.com for 2022 and let us know what gun you think got snubbed in the comments below.

It seems like every year Savage debuts a dozen new guns. While some of them are just a twist on an already classic gun, some of them catch the hunting world by storm. The 110 PCS fulfills both as a twist on a classic 110 and also captivating the hunting world with a shorty bolt-action that begs to be taken to the field. Check out everything there is to like about the Savage 110 PCS in the review here

8. Review: Smith & Wesson 460 XVR - Ready for Anything

The large framed XVR means business both on the range and in the field. (Photo: Kristin Alberts/Guns.com)

Some guns are head-turners whether they perform or not. The Smith & Wesson 460 XVR is certainly one of them, and lucky for us, it performs, too. Take the 460 XVR to the range and you're sure to be the stall everyone visits. While it's certainly a powerful gun, it's also surprisingly light on recoil given the chambering. Read about everything we loved about the gun here

7. M&P15 Rifles Are Best-Selling AR-15s for a Good Reason

There's no doubt about it, the M&P15 is easily one of the most popular black rifles in America. (Photo: Paul Peterson/Guns.com)

Hard to believe that we didn't have a review of the classic Smith & Wesson M&P15 before 2022. This was the year that changed, and we paid homage to one of the most popular AR-15s in America. You rewarded us by making this one of our top-viewed reviews. It's nothing fancy, but it's a workhorse. Find out what else we liked about the M&P15 in the review here.

6. Review: 17+1 Optics Ready SIG P365 XMACRO Comp

One of the hottest pistols of 2022 was also one of our favorites to review. (Chris Eger/Guns.com)

SIG did it again and made a huge splash in the concealed carry world with the release of its XMACRO Comp. A blend between the Spectre Comp and the P365 XL, the P365 XMACRO Comp was made to shoot fast and flat. We put it through its paces and came back all smiles. Find out why in the review of the XMACRO Comp here.

4. Review: Why the Glock 43X Remains So Popular

The Glock 43X has been a best seller since it was released. (Photo: Brian Jackson/Guns.com)

The Glock 43X is a regular up on top of our Best Sellers articles, and there is certainly a reason for that. It's as dependable as any gun on the market. The fact that it's small and easily concealable doesn't hurt either. Just like it's hard to believe we never had an M&P15 review, it's also hard to believe we never published a full review on the G43X. Find out why we think it remains a best seller in the review here.

3. Mountain Gun: Smith & Wesson 629 Revolver Review

In what might have been the biggest surprise of 2022, the Smith & Wesson 629-5 Mountain Gun lands at our number three spot. It certainly is a beautiful gun, and there is something about the .44 Mag that drives people wild. Perhaps the combo was what set this review on fire, making it one of our most popular gun reviews of the year. Find out what else is great about this classic 629 in the review here.

2. Sig Sauer P365 vs P365X for Concealed Carry

Popular concealed carry handguns dominated the review charts this year, and there aren't many more popular than these two. (Photo: Seth Rodgers/Guns.com)

Technically, this review was published in 2021, but with a December 23rd publish date, we'll let it slide into the 2022 list. Again, we compared two of the most popular carry guns in America, this time a SIG-only battle. The differences are subtle. But if you're looking for a new P365 to carry, then they are important to notate. Find out how these two guns differ and how they're the same in the review here

1. New Marlin 1895 SBL: Meet the Highly Anticipated Ruger-Built Lever Action

The gun is certainly a top seller for a reason, but it's photos like these that have people reaching into their wallets. (Photo: Kristin Alberts/Guns.com)

We knew the new Marlin 1895 would be popular when Ruger announced last year that their spin on the new rifle would be readily available in 2022, but I don't think anyone saw this coming. Not only has this gun topped our best sellers list, which is incredible considering it's a lever gun typically surrounded by AR-patterned rifles, but it has now topped our most viewed reviews list. It's truly an incredible gun, and it may have already made that $30 million Ruger spent to acquire Marlin back for Ruger with how it's been selling.
