Timney is now offering a new entry-level, drop-in replacement trigger for one of the most iconic American bolt-action rifles.

Arizona-based Timney has been in the upgraded trigger game since 1946 – with much of that time spent making triggers for the Remington 700. From the Elite Hunter 700 to the HIT trigger and the Two-Stage 700 to the Calvin Elite Custom, Timney has the series well covered, with prices running anywhere from about $200-$300. Well, they now have a more cost-effective option available for fans of the 700 platform – the Impact 700 – that comes in at a more easily attainable $124.

Set at a factory-tuned 3-to-4-pound non-adjustable pull weight with an advertised crisp and clean break, Timney is making sure the same quality seen on all their triggers is not carved away with the Impact 700.

"Timney’s engineers designed this entry-level trigger by machining the parts from billet steel – no skimping with metal injection molding, rolled, or stamped parts – while still hand-assembling, testing, and calibrating each trigger at a price you asked for," says the company.

Guns.com had the good fortune to visit Timney's Phoenix plant earlier this year and will have an upcoming episode of Select Fire highlighting the iconic all-American operation.
