SIG Sauer recently announced the new P365 AXG Legion variant, complete with an integrated compensator.

The newest P365 gives the standard-bearer for micro 9mm compacts a more competition flavor to include a metal Alloy XSeries Grip module paired with a slide that incorporates the same sort of integrated compensator seen on the XMacro line released last year. Added to this are all the sweet, sweet Legion features – it’s the first P365 in the Legion series – such as a competition-style removable metal mag well, SIG's excellent X-ray day/night sights, G10 grip panels, a slide cut for optics, and a flat-faced trigger.

The new SIG Sauer P365 AXG Legion has an overall length of 6.6 inches and an empty weight of 26 ounces. This puts it about the same length as the P365 XMacro line, while at the same time coming in at a quarter-pound heavier due to the metal, not polymer, grip module. Note the Legion Gray Cerakote finish. (Photos: SIG)

It runs X-ray day/night sights and has an optics cut for the common Shield RMS-c footprint. Sight radius is 5.1 inches due to the front sight being set behind the two-port integrated expansion chamber compensator in the slide.

Like the XMacro, it uses 17+1 round magazines and is one of the few P365s with a full Picatinny-style accessory rail. Note the enhanced ergos of the AXG grip module.

Speaking of ergos, the P365 AXG Legion ships with both front and rear slide serrations, an extended slide catch lever, and G10 grip panels.

No MSRP is available on the new SIG Sauer P365 AXG Legion, but we can confirm it ships with three mags complete with alloy base pads and all the expected Legion series goodies.
