On this week’s episode of  "Two Guys One Gun," the crew discusses what is possibly the greatest firearm design from John Moses Browning. Sparked by a firearm acquired through our We Buy Guns program, this historical conversation might lead you to add to your gun collection.

With over 100 years of service, the Browning M2 .50-caliber belt-fed machine gun is one of the longest-serving weapon systems in the United States, with no sign of retirement anytime soon. In fact, after several attempts to find a replacement, the U.S. military has concluded that it is basically impossible to improve on the performance with a new design. As the old saying goes, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

The boys take this discussion all the way back to World War I, breaking down Browning’s vision for a .50-caliber belt fed machine-gun. Even though his dream was not fully realized until after his death, it would be impossible to have the “Ma Deuce” without John Moses Browning’s insight and genius.

While talking about gun history is fun, getting to take gun history home is even more fun. The Guns.com warehouse has hundreds of firearms delivered every week, and it is rare when something comes in that is so cool that the entire operation comes to a grinding halt. That is exactly what happened when this Colt M3AC showed up at the dock.

While AR-15s and Glocks are cool, not a lot of people realize that you can add a semi-automatic Browning M2 variant to your collection as well.
