Canik Partners With Taran Tactical for Affordable Canik TTI Combat
Taran Tactical Innovations, the birthplace of many “John Wick” guns, has partnered with Canik to produce the Canik TTI Combat. Yes, that means you can now own a TTI gun for under $1,000. That is less than half of anything TTI has previously offered.
I’m told TTI designed this gun from the ground up. But to my eyes, the pistol seems to be based on the Canik SFx Rival but souped up by renowned champion shooter and Hollywood weapons maker/trainer Taran Butler.
First, Taran redesigned the grip. He insisted on super aggressive texturing for a sure grip in adverse conditions. He also narrowed all three of the backstrap modules for a different grip profile.

Second, he redesigned the iron sights to be lower profile while still offering an excellent sight picture. He also moved the fiber optic in the front sight as high as it could go on the blade to give a more precise aiming point.
Third, Taran had Canik build a new super-thin RMR optic plate so that his favorite RDS, the Trijicon SRO, would sit lower in the slide and co-witness with the iron sights. This will also work with Canik’s new large-window competition red dots.

Fourth, Taran chose a burnt bronze Cerakote with black shadowing for a unique appeal. And finally, he added a removable compensator to the spiral-fluted barrel. This is the first factory Canik that comes with a compensator.
This quick-detach comp makes this already modular gun even more versatile. I’m told it can be configured to fit in at least five different competition shooting divisions. That's without even mentioning the fact you can make it into a great range or home defense gun. It could even be carried concealed.
Rounding out the specs, the gun comes with Canik’s top-of-the-line Rival diamond-cut, flat-faced, 90-degree-break trigger. Plus, there is a new aggressive and extended slide release.

The package itself includes a top-shelf travel case, two magazines – one standard 18-round mag and one with a TTI +3 base plate – mini-Canik replica/tool, three backstraps, additional tools, unique challenge coin, and matching TTI Combat competition holster.
For an MSRP of $949, I don’t think you can ask for more.
