Foxtrot Mike Wows with Innovative One-Piece Barrel + New Monolith & Ranch Rifles
You may not know the company Foxtrot Mike, but I bet you know some of its products. The 9mm PCC from “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum” was a Foxtrot Mike design. Brownells’ BRN-180 is also from the minds at Foxtrot Mike, and so is the Wilson Combat EDC X9 and many other well-respected firearms.
We got to see a few more of the things the company has been working on lately at SHOT Show 2024 in Las Vegas.
One-Piece Barrel
Foxtrot Mike has released its one-piece mono barrel. All the barrel parts are machined into the barrel from one piece of steel. The barrel extension, gas block, and muzzle device are all integral.
Doing this makes for a stronger, lighter, and simpler barrel. It’s also more reliable because there is no danger of a gas block moving or a muzzle device coming loose. In addition, the design is more thermally efficient than traditional barrel constructions. This barrel does not get as hot as fast as traditional AR-15 barrels, and the concentricity is improved, which makes for a more accurate gun.

In addition, strikes on suppressor baffles are reduced, because there is no misalignment of the muzzle device and the barrel. The barrel extension and the bolt are AR-10-sized for the AR-15 calibers. This makes everything stronger and allows the feed ramps to be machined directly into the extension.
The integrated gas block is at a 45-degree angle, and the gas tube locks into place with a fuel-injection fitting. This system improves gas flow and makes for a more efficient system and a great suppressor host.
The machined muzzle device is a Dead Air KeyMo design, so it is a good compensator already. But more importantly, it fits all suppressors that use this attachment method. The Dead Air KeyMo is probably one of the most popular quick-detach systems on the market, but Foxtrot Mike is taking suggestions on other muzzle device options that it can make integral, too.
The company says these barrels have the highest level of concentricity it has ever made, and they are twice as good as any of its previous barrels. All the new Foxtrot Mike rifles will be adopting this one-piece barrel design.
Global Ordnance Monolith

Also in the Foxtrot Mike booth was its collaboration rifle, the Global Ordnance Monolith. The Monolith is a 5.5-pound, bufferless AR-style rifle that uses the new Foxtrot Mike mono barrel.
In addition to all the previously mentioned benefits of the one-piece barrel design, the Monolith includes an integrated folding adjustable stock, ambidextrous controls, flat-face trigger, and folding side-charging handle. Complementing the barrel, Foxtrot Mike also did its paratrooper charging handle and integral folding mechanism.

Initially it will be chambered in 5.56 NATO and will be available in 16.1-inch rifle, 12.6-inch pistol, and SBR configurations. If this rifle is as accurate and reliable as the company claims, it’s going to be a steal at $1,299.
Ranch Rifle

Lastly, on display at its booth was the popular Ranch Rifle. Foxtrot Mike released the components to the Ranch Rifle over the last few years, but it started selling it as a complete rifle last year.
For 2024, it made a few improvements. Foxtrot Mike added its new one-piece barrel, paratrooper charging handle, and removed a Picatinny rail. These rifles start at $999.
