Those looking for a retro martial Hi-Power clone with a very WWII or Cold War feel to it have a lot to be happy about this year.

Resurrecting the old Inglis name-- a Canadian firearms maker that cranked out thousands of Hi-Powers and Bren guns during the 1940s-- Tennessee-based SDS Imports came to SHOT Show with the new brand up and running and with four different models of Turkish-made BHPs to display.

The new company plans a British Army style L9A1 clone to include a black Chromate finish and plastic grips as well as three more commercial models: a black Inglis P-35B with checkered walnut grips, the satin nickel Inglis P-35N with black G10 grips, and a color-case hardened Inglis GP-35.

It looks like it could be right out of the Falklands in 1982 or the Aden Emergency in 1967

You just don't see a lot of nickel coating these days as it faded out in the 1980s when stainless became widespread

The MSRP will range from $489 for the L9A1 to $649 for the GP-35. That kinda of pricing will be extremely competitive at retail.
