MDT Chassis
Starting off, CZ is debuting the MDT chassis system on the Model 600 as a soft launch in Europe, with plans of bringing it to the United States.
The CZ 600 MDT is built off the CZ 600 Range, with a heavy barrel and a redesigned steel receiver that features a top Picatinny rail for mounting optics and the ability to accept AICS pattern magazines. The rifle features a custom precision rifle chassis by MDT, known worldwide for building custom rifle chassis.
CZ 600 MDT Features
The line will be offered with two models: a basic rifle designated the MDT Grey, and a more premium Deep Bronze model. The base Grey version features a simple MDT CZS stock, with a riser and spacers, along with a standard angle pistol grip and a threaded barrel with a thread protector.
The upgraded Deep Bronze edition’s highly adjustable stock includes adjustments for the cheek riser, length of pull, and even the butt plate, which moves up and down. The pistol grip is a 90-degree perpendicular grip designed specifically for precision rifle shooting.
While both the Grey and Deep Bronze feature a CZ Bren 2 style safety, the Deep Bronze features the ability to use that safety as a thumb rest. The Deep Bronze also wears a custom three-chamber muzzle brake designed by CZ.
These rifles boast a guaranteed sub-3/4 MOA with five rounds at 100 meters from the factory. The rifles also feature an adjustable trigger, with the lightest setting 600 grams (approximately 1.3 pounds), and ship with 10-round AICS magazines with a redesigned follower that is made for reliability when single loading cartridges from the ejection port. The MDT chassis features M-LOK mounting slots, QD sling points, and mounts for spare round holders.
CZ 457 Manners MTR
CZ also announced the 457 Manners MTR. While the 457 is hardly new, CZ partnered with Manners to equip the rifle with hand-laid carbon-fiber rifle stocks on a 16-inch barreled MTR rifle with CZ’s match chamber. CZ boasts that this is its most accurate rifle yet.
The custom Manners rifle stock has an adjustable cheek riser and length of pull, as well as a flat-bottomed forend with holes drilled to mount an ARCA rail. You’ll also find QD sling mounts on the stock and forend.
