Following up on its G17 binary trigger kit, Franklin Armory has an off-the-shelf conversion for the G22 as well as a binary pack for Stribog owners.

Franklin late last year coughed up the long-awaited 9mm G-S173 kit which, besides the fun factor on the range, evaporates split times and helps produce tighter groupings, especially when running controlled pairs. Consisting of a selector-switch-equipped slide with a companion two-position binary trigger, it offered both a very G18-style aesthetic (while being NFA compliant) and a crowd-pleasing ability for binary fire – which allows the user to fire a round both on the pull of the trigger and the release.

Now, the new G-S223 kit from Franklin, debuted at SHOT Show late last month, offers the same thing to those with a Gen 3 G22 sitting around – and makes those mountains of cheap LEO trade-in guns and used-but-still-very-usable Glock .40s a bit more attractive.

The new Franklin Armory G-S223 kit includes an optics-ready slide with a built-in selector switch for the binary system, as well as the trigger pack. Just supply the Gen 3 G22 frame and barrel, and you are good to go. The MSRP is $899.

Stribog

Speaking of binary, Franklin has also come through with an option for the Grand Power Stribog platform, with its SP-S1 Binary Firing System fitting the SP9A1, the SP9A3, and the G (Glock mag) model.

It features an ambi three-position (Position One, safe; Position Two, semiautomatic; Position Three, binary) selectable trigger. In binary mode, the trigger pull fires one round while the trigger release fires a second round. The trigger's MSRP is $499.
