Staccato came out strong at SHOT Show 2024 with four new announcements, and Guns.com was there to get the scoop.

CS 2024 Frame

The first new piece of news was the new frame on the CS. This new CS 2024 has a beefed-up frame to improve both aesthetic and shooting performance.

Staccato says the thicker frame eliminates the step down from the slide to the frame, making a more eye-pleasing design. It also adds non-reciprocating weight out front on the gun, which will help reduce muzzle rise.

The C 2024

The second, and probably biggest announcement, was the debut of the model C 2024 pistol. This is a complete redesign of Staccato’s previous C gun. The new C uses the new CS 2024 frame/magazine and adds a 4-inch slide. This new top end incorporates all the design improvements from the CS into the C, including a fluted barrel, external extractor, improved dual spring recoil system, and upgraded slide rails.

The new C model has been redesigned to use the CS 2024 frame and magazine, with a 4-inch slide.

It seems like the company wants this to be its new do-it-all gun, replacing the C2. It’s small enough for concealed carry because of the reduced-size magazines, and the 4-inch barrel is big enough for duty or home defense. For all intents and purposes, the C 2024 is an improved C2 that is slimmer. The only reason to stick with the C2 is if you want to continue to use 2011 magazines.

Staccato plans to release the new C in both compact and full-sized versions this summer.

The C 2024 is still in the pre-production phase and should be released this summer, with a choice of two frame sizes. The compact frame will be the size of the CS and take the same magazines, while the full-sized frame will have a longer grip and take extended CS magazines.

Ammunition

Thirdly, Staccato introduced its own line of ammunition: Staccato Ammunition. With the goal of having high quality and affordable ammo always be available for their customers, Staccato decided they needed to produce it themselves.

For now, Staccato's new range and match ammo is available only on the company's website.

Initial offerings include a range and a match option. The range ammo should be able to shoot 2-inch groups at 25 yards, while the match ammo is reputed to shoot 1-inch groups at 25 yards through a Staccato.

Training Ranch

Finally, Staccato announced its new training facility called the Staccato Ranch. More than just a range, the Ranch is meant to be a destination with all kinds of shooting experiences.

The facility is being built on 800 acres in Florence, Texas just north of Austin near Staccato’s new headquarters. The Staccato Ranch is slated to open this spring.
