Colorado-based optics maker Swampfox on Thursday debuted its new second-generation Tomahawk II second focal plane low power variable optic in both 1-4x24 and 1-6x24 variants.

In an upgrade from the Gen 1 SFP LPVO, the new Tomahawk II series has several subtle enhancements and now runs a push/pull locking elevation turret with zero reset and a capped windage turret. This feature protects settings in the field and locks in user POI adjustments.

Going past the two magnification options, the Tomahawk II will also be available with two illuminated SFP reticles: the Guerrilla Dot Bullet Drop Compensation (BDC) with either a red or green illumination and the new Bright Fiber Optic (BFO), the latter with a choice of red, green, amber, and blue fiber optic illumination options.

Both the new 1-4x24 and 1-6x24 Tomahawk II SFP LPVOs have a 30mm tube diameter with a 24mm objective lens. All models come standard with 12 brightness settings including two for use with NV. Constructed with a body crafted from 6061 aluminum, weight is in the 20-ounce range. Fully multi-coated, anti-fog, and hydrophobic lenses are standard. (Photos: Swampfox)

The new Tomahawk II is available with either the Guerrilla Dot BDC or BFO reticle options. For 5.56 and .308/7.62x51, the simple BDC reticle is available in glass-etched red and green illumination. The BFP gives users a bright single point of aim with either red, green, amber, or blue fiber-optic illumination. The power source is a single side-loaded CR2032 battery. (Photos: Swampfox)

The MSRP for Swampfox Tomahawk II starts at $369 for 1-4x models and $429 for 1-6x with a Limited Lifetime Warranty and 10-year coverage on all illumination and electronic systems.

Guns.com has a Tomahawk II on hand for evaluation and will post a review in the coming weeks.
