Factory Rebuilds
You will notice there are different colored stickers on Glock handgun cases. White denotes models with less than 10 round magazines, red/pink is for models with mags over 10 rounds, green for export, purple for contract overruns, blue for Glock’s blue label (veteran/law enforcement deal program) line, and lastly, orange for factory rebuilt guns.
These factory rebuilds are not clapped-out Glocks put back together with new parts. Most of the time they have extremely low round counts, as they had simple issues that didn’t pass QC. They are then refitted with brand-new parts, a new finish, reinspected, and sold at a discount.
Glock 45
We recently got a bunch of Glock 45 Gen 5 factory rebuilds. The Glock 45 is a hybrid handgun that uses a compact slide and barrel but maintains a full-sized grip and magazine capacity. The handgun feeds from standard 17-round Glock magazines, while incorporating the bigger magazine release featured in fourth and fifth-generation Glocks.

The compact slide features front serrations for easy manipulation plus a sight upgrade with Amarillo night sights instead of the standard plastic Glock sights.
This handgun includes all the standard accessories of a normal Glock: three 17-round magazines, backstraps, a cleaning brush, and a manual. This is basically a brand-new gun, straight from Glock.
Summary
It’s hard to go wrong with a Glock. There is a reason it is one of the most trusted brands out there. In fact, I still carry a Glock 45 when I am working security contracts.
The rebuild program offers the same quality and reliability of any Glock at a discount. I would even say you get a bit of an upgrade with those Amarillo sights. This is an excellent handgun and a great deal. Grab a rebuilt Glock, use the savings to grab some ammo, and train.
