CZ has teamed up with UFC star Jiri Prochazka and nine-time IPSC World Champion Eric Grauffel on a new firearms safety awareness campaign that encourages gun owners to “Respect the Power & Master the Skill.” CZ’s new initiative urges a disciplined approach to gun ownership, combining respect with a focus on practical skills like safe handling and regular range training.

CZ has set up a website with videos and other content featuring the two athletes, including demonstrations of proper firearm handling techniques and ways to continually improve skills through the right mental approach. Visitors to the site also get a chance to win a real-life training session with Prochazka and Grauffel in Las Vegas.

“Both Jiri and Eric have reached the pinnacle of their respective disciplines through focus, mental and physical resilience, and intense discipline and training,” CZ stated in a news release. “These qualities are also directly applicable to firearms users, including members of the armed forces, sportsmen and women, target shooters, or those who carry for personal protection.”

For MMA fighter Jiri Prochazka, shooting is both a hobby and part of the training regimen that helps him win titles. He even trained with Grauffel, who’s also head instructor at the EG-CZ Academy shooting school in France, as preparation for UFC 311, which just took place in Vegas over the weekend.

“Respect and responsibility have been central to my fighting career and my entire life. That’s why I enjoy recreational shooting, where these qualities are crucial,” Prochazka said.
