Based out of the Space Coast of Florida, Diamondback Firearms rolled into SHOT Show 2025 with a pair of new SDR revolvers. Diamondback’s Self-Defense Revolver line now includes a snub-nosed 9mm option and a .357 Magnum boasting a 3-inch barrel

Both versions were on full display for the first time during SHOT Show’s opening range-day event. All guns in the SDR family offer six-round capacities with ergonomically friendly cylinder releases. As self-defense firearms, the SDR line also boasts high-visibility fiber-optic sights.

The 9mm model represents an additional chambering in the SDR family, and Diamondback responded to popular demand by adding a 3-inch option to the SDR’s .357 Mag lineup. Of course, the .357 Magnum cylinder can also run with the common .38 Special. (Image: Diamondback Firearms)

Both of these new models come with Hogue rubberized grips. Since 9mm is a rimless cartridge, Diamondback is shipping the new 9mm SDR with three TK Custom proprietary moon clips for faster loading and unloading.

The additions come as a direct result of customer feedback, which included a healthy demand for a snub-nosed model chambered in the common 9mm. They also answered a craving for a longer 3-inch-barreled .357 Magnum. (Image: Diamondback Firearms)

“The snub-nosed SDR has been a huge success, and we have had a lot of customer feedback asking for a 3-inch barrel and a 9mm version,” says Grant Hoskins, marketing manager for Diamondback. "This year, we are working hard to expand our product line and bring new designs to the market. The 3-inch SDR and the 9mm SDR are the latest products in the Diamondback lineup and help expand our product offerings into new areas."

MSRP for the new guns comes in at $821 for the new 9mm revolver and $837 for the 3-inch .357 Magnum.
