What’s new from CCI? The outdoor industry’s SHOT Show 2025 turned out plenty of new firearms and ammunition. Not surprisingly, rimfire specialist and Blazer-producer CCI put out a trio of young product lines.

Suppressor Max 22 Long Rifle

With rapidly growing interest in all things suppressor-related, it’s not surprising to see more suppressor-specific loads coming from ammunition manufacturers. To that end, CCI’s new Suppressor Max 22 Long Rifle is designed for subsonic, low-decibel use.

This .22 LR’s 970-fps muzzle velocity helps with noise reduction, yet the company also advertises optimal accuracy and terminal performance. Perhaps the most important factor for many shooters is the company’s promise that Suppressor Max 22 will cycle reliably in all semi-automatics, something that cannot be said for many other such subsonic loads on the market today.

Suppressor Max 22 is topped with a 45-grain hollow-point bullet designed to segment on impact, even at lower velocities. Those numbers should keep the round plenty interesting for small-game hunting and pest control, too.

The Suppressor Max 22 rounds we saw at SHOT 2025 come in 100-round plastic slide-top boxes with a retail price of $18.99.

Uppercut 22 WMR

Whether you love or hate the idea of rimfires for personal defense, having specialized ammunition options is never a bad thing. With its penchant for all things rimfire, it’s no surprise to see another addition to CCI’s defense-tailored Uppercut.

The new .22 WMR round features a 40-grain jacketed-hollow-point projectile with nose skiving, which is intended for the most full and reliable expansion. What’s more, the round is advertised to perform as advertised through all platforms, including the short-barreled handguns commonly relied upon in self-defense situations.

Uppercut 22 WMR, like its predecessor Uppercut 22 LR, comes in 50-round plastic boxes. Though the exact MSPR has not yet been revealed, the .22 LR version retails for $13.99 per 50-round sleeve.

Blazer Brass Hollow Point

The last of CCI’s new loads for 2025 is surprisingly not a rimfire offering. Those who have never looked closely at a box of Blazer centerfire rounds will see the CCI logo there, as it falls under its branding.

Blazer Brass Hollow Point is new for 2025. It will be shipping soon, and it’s available in 9mm Luger, .40 S&W, 10mm Auto, and .45 ACP. As always, Blazer’s name is synonymous with affordability, yet these hollow-point loads are dressed in reloadable brass casings and CCI primers, ensuring buyers get plenty of bang for their buck, whether on the range or loaded for defense.

Blazer Brass HP is shipping immediately, with a retail cost starting at $37.99 per 50-round box.

Final Thoughts

It’s worth noting that SHOT Show 2025 marked CCI’s debut under The Kinetic Group, itself a holding of Czech-based CSG ownership. Despite showcasing the three new product announcements above, CCI was surrounded at SHOT Show by other TKG brands like Federal, Remington, and Hevi-Shot

Still, don’t sleep on CCI, an ammunition maker that appears committed to building upon its own solid-performing roots.
