LWRCI Offers Brand-New IC MK2, Luxury 9mm IC-9 Carbine + Suppressors for 2025
As a result of its very successful piston-driven AR design, LWRC International has grown into a brand that many people know and love for its quality and performance-focused guns. Trusted by law enforcement and beloved by the domestic market alike, LWRC brought a range of new products to SHOT Show 2025.
From its next-gen LWRC IC MK2 rifle to a brand-new 9mm carbine and an entire line of suppressors, here’s what’s new from LWRCI for 2025.
LWRC IC MK2
The LWRC IC is a rifle that competed in the U.S. Army’s Individual Carbine Program, which ultimately was canceled with no firearm adoptions. However, the design of the rifle was extremely popular, and it competed in several other military trials. It was also adopted by several law enforcement agencies and the British Special Operations groups.

LWRCI’s rifle employs a self-regulated short-stroke gas piston, which has been reported to aid in reliability. Previous models of the LWRC IC were limited in rail design, as the gas-piston system did not allow for slim-fitting free-float rails. For 2025, LWRCI released the IC MK2, which has an improved slim handguard that fits over the gas system and offers M-LOK attachment slots.
The rail features an opening for the new gas-adjustment wing, making it easier for users to switch between suppressed and unsuppressed settings. The rail is also tacked into the receiver differently, giving it more strength while taking any unnecessary pressure off the barrel.

Additionally, the IC family of firearms at LWRCI gets an expansion into pistol calibers. New for 2025, the company announced the LWRC IC-9, a 9mm blowback version of the carbine platform.
This firearm features all the standard controls of the IC but feeds from Glock-pattern magazines.
LWRCI Suppressors
Now, while LWRC International is known for its firearms, the company is also proud to announce its own line of suppressors. With huge leaps and bounds being made in both the process of purchasing and manufacturing a suppressor, LWRCI has released a new forward-flow suppressor design.

The new suppressor line will feature the S-556 made from the superalloy Inconel and steel for 5.56mm, a titanium S-762 Ti for 7.62mm, and the titanium S-9 Ti for 9mm. Each suppressor will feature a baffle design that pushes the gas toward the muzzle of the can, with perforations in the end cap to vent off the excess gas buildup.
This is similar to the design principles of companies like HUXWRX. However, the S-556 will have an Inconel construction to withstand full-auto fire.
