Walther continues to expand its vaunted PDP lineup, showing several new models at SHOT Show 2025

Walther PDP F-Series Pro Acro

Starting with the PDP F-Series Professional ACRO model, the company has shown commitment to both its F-series line and its partnership with Aimpoint. This essentially combines the best of both worlds for an easy-to-use F-series handgun paired with upgraded features like the Dynamic Performance Trigger and removable magwell. It will also feature an Aimpoint ACRO P2 optic milled directly into the slide.

PDP F-Series Pro-X

Walther kept up with the trend of enhancing the F-series lineup with the Pro-X model. This model features the same upgrades as above in terms of trigger and magwell. This one differs in that it doesn’t have the ACRO up top but does have a compensator built into the slide.

F-series also gets the compensated upgrade.

We got to take this for a spin during range day and really enjoyed our time with it. The trigger is still the same amazing trigger you get with the rest of the Pro models, while the compensator keeps this gun shooting flat during follow-ups.

PDP Pro Steel Frame Compact

The popular steel-frame treatment goes compact.

The PDP trend continues, this time with a Compact version of the steel-framed pistol. This brings great ergonomics and the extra weight to tame recoil, for those who want that.

PDP Pro-EF

Finally, this could be a perfect pairing for a lot of people to make a new carry gun.

Finally, Walther took the Pro-E treatment, complete with the upgraded trigger and extended magwell, and brought it to the F-series frame with the Pro-EF. While the Pro-E features a large, extended magwell, this one is tempered a bit but still allows for quick reloads. It still boasts that same great trigger and ergonomics of the Pro-E series.

Walther PP Threaded

That classic PP flavor, now ready for a can.

Walther continued another trend that began last year with the PPK/S with the threaded barrel. This year, the company is rolling out the Walther PP in .32 ACP with a threaded barrel. This will be everything you’ve loved about the PP – now just ready for a suppressor and perhaps some James Bond imitations.
