Beretta had so much it wanted to share with us at SHOT Show 2025 in Las Vegas: the A300 Patrol and 1301 Tactical Mod. 2 tactical shotguns with new Chisel stocks, an 80X Cheetah in .32 ACP, the 92X Performance in various new colors, and the tiny but potent 20X Bobcat in .22 LR.

So, let’s go one by one.

A300 Patrol Chisel

New for 2025 is the addition of the Chisel Machining stock on the A300 Patrol shotgun. This stock adds style and functionality. The adjustable length of pull makes the gun suitable for different-sized shooters and different clothing or armor constraints. It also gives users the ability to mount a red dot right behind the iron sights.

The 1301 Tactical Mod. 2 shotgun also received the Chisel stock upgrade for 2025. You get all the great benefits listed above, but there is also an added folding feature. On the A300, because of the way the action works, a folding mechanism simply would not work. However, on the 1301, that was not an issue. The folding stock allows for easy storage and transport of the long gun.

80X Cheetah in .32 ACP

The 80X Cheetah got a new caliber addition in the .32 ACP. I love the .32 ACP round. It is incredibly soft shooting. I have a vintage Cheetah in .32 ACP. This John Moses Browning-designed round was carried as a defensive cartridge for decades. I think it is having a comeback.

92X Performance New Colors

New for the 92X Performance line are several different stylized color combos, also known as colorways. There are two different lines coming out: the Dark Series and the JJ Racaza Signature Series.

The Dark Series features a dark coating on the slide, Toni Systems grip, and Toni Systems extended magazine well. There will be three different frame colors available. Meanwhile, the JJ Racaza Signature Series will have two models: a gold and a white. JJ Racaza designed the grip and finish to make it unique for him. It is pretty blingy.

20X Bobcat in .22 LR

Finally, Beretta updated its 20X Bobcat pocket pistols to include an 8+1 option chambered in .22 LR. The new gun still uses the same basic blowback action and tip-up design for easy loading. Designers moved the magazine release from the heel of the grip to behind the trigger guard. That American-style safety is also reversible now.

Finally, Beretta added an optics mounting option. The 20X Bobcat will be available in four different variants that will have distinctive combinations of grips, threaded or unthreaded barrels, and normal or suppressor-height sights.
