Design
Noveske’s flagship rifle is the N4 Recon. The company focuses on quality manufacturing and design to offer a premium AR-15 platform, as opposed to a lot of run-of-the-mill ARs on the market. This most eye-catching feature of this Trident edition rifle is the unique color scheme – a well-coordinated mix of FDE and OD green that highlights the lines of the build.
The N4 Recon is a rifle with a 16-inch barrel with a 1:7 twist. It is chambered in 5.56 with a mid-length gas system. Noveske is known for barrel accuracy, and the company serializes each barrel to ensure proper quality control.

The barrel is tipped with a proprietary flash hider. The Pig Pen is designed much like an A2 birdcage, with vent slots around the top and a closed bottom to prevent dirt from kicking up into it when shooting close to the ground. The Pig Pen also features the CAT standard 1:16 left-handed QD suppressor thread pitch.
The barrel is surrounded by a free-floated handguard with M-LOK slots every 45 degrees and a top-mounted Picatinny rail. There is ample space for mounting accessories, and we have added a BCM Vertical Grip, which features a slight angle. The top rail runs the length of the upper receiver and includes Magpul MBUS Pro flip-up iron sights.
Features & Controls
A key feature of the Noveske build is the billet upper and lower receivers. While most companies use forged upper and lowers, Noveske’s billet design is a tight fit with no wobble between the receivers and a tight tolerance. The upper receiver includes a Love Handle ambidextrous charging handle for easy manipulation with either hand.
The lower receiver is a completely ambidextrous as well. For right-handed shooters, an additional bolt hold/release control has been added above the magazine release. For left-handed shooters, the magazine retention lever (below the traditional bolt hold/release control) doubles as a release. The safety is repeated on both sides, although the right-side switch is shorter so that it won’t dig into a right-handed shooter’s finger.
One of the best features of the N4 Recon is the comfortable furniture Noveske chose. B5 Systems makes some of the best pistol grips on the market, with a vertical grip angle that is easy on the wrist. The adjustable B5 stock is reminiscent of a SOPMOD stock with a big cheek weld, while overall it’s slimmer than the SOPMOD. The stock also features a QD cup for a sling, along with a QD cup end plate in the receiver for a more ideal single-point sling mount.
Accessories
If the quality rifle isn't enough, Noveske puts the icing on the cake with several included accessories. In the past, each Noveske firearm included a lollipop with a scorpion inside of it. Nowadays, you get a polymer keychain with a scorpion print and a package of gummy bears.
The company also includes a QD cup mount for M-LOK, allowing the customer the ability to place the forward sling mount where it best fits them. There are also two included QD sling swivels. One Magpul P-mag is included, and the baseplate has a Cerakote finish that matches the handguard. Each rifle includes a certificate of authenticity, noting the serial numbers and the date the rifle was completed.

In a world inundated with AR builds, it can be hard to discern a quality build from the rest, but the Trident edition of the N4 Recon is a badass rifle that you can trust.
