Beretta’s Updated 20X Bobcat Now Available in 4 Variants
Beretta gave its Bobcat pocket pistol line a makeover for 2025, and we got a closer look at the new 20X Bobcat at NRAAM last weekend.
The Bug Out Bag model of the new 20X Bobcat features a two-tone colorway with a threaded barrel and suppressor-height sights.

The polymer magazine holds eight rounds of .22 LR and provides a bit more real estate for your pinky than previous models.
Controls on the 20X have been updated to suit the modern shooter. Instead of a lever to tip up the barrel as on the classic 21A Bobcat, there’s now a push button. The mag release moved from the heel of the grip to behind the trigger guard, and the safety is reversible. The redesigned magazine is all polymer with a capacity of 8+1 rounds of .22 LR. Grips are ergonomic with Beretta's new proprietary Helica texturing.
The Bobcat 20X models have upgraded serrated hammers plus skeletonized, flat-faced triggers.
The modernized Bobcat also features an upgraded hammer and skeletonized, flat-faced trigger, and is available with suppressor-height sights and a threaded barrel. There are optics-ready options, too.
“These guns make incredible suppressor hosts, because the barrel is fixed, and when you fire the gun, only the slide moves,” Beretta shotgun product manager Logan Killam told us at NRAAM.
The "Do It Yourself" model is blacked-out and suppressor-ready.
The 20X can be found in four variants at launch. The suppressor-ready Bug Out Bag sports a two-tone color pattern with a black frame and barrel and silver receiver, while the Do It Yourself is a blacked-out version. You’re On Your Own and In Case Emergency come with lower-profile sights and sans the threaded barrel.
MSRP starts at $549, but you can find these for less on Guns.com.
