GForce Teases Sub-$500 PDW-Sized Blade, Jawbone Pistols that Take Glock Mags
Budget-friendly gunmaker GForce Arms teased two new large-format pistols, the 9mm Blade6 and Jawbone, at the NRA’s Annual Meeting for 2025. Their arrival is just in time to add two truly affordable options to the wave of PCC-like large-format pistols that are increasingly flying off manufacturers’ assembly lines this year.
Both guns run on Glock mags, which is perhaps the best feature a 9mm large-format pistol or pistol caliber carbine can have these days.
This 15-inch Blade6 has a folding brace and sports a Magpul drum mag, which is just one of dozens of Glock-compatible magazine options for both guns. (Photo: Samantha Mursan/Guns.com)
The Jawbone’s brace is adjustable but not foldable due to its buffer system. Still, the total length can squeeze down to a mere 20.75 inches. (Photo: Samantha Mursan/Guns.com)
The Blade6 sports a 6-inch barrel fed by a blowback action. There’s also the Blade8, which is nearly identical but hosts a slightly longer 8-inch barrel. The Jawbone wears a 5-inch barrel and runs with a buffer system, which is not unlike your traditional AR-15.
That blowback action allows the pistol brace on this Blade6 to fold neatly out of the way. There’s also plenty of Picatinny rail for grips, optics, lights, lasers, and any other doodads you can think to add. (Photo: Samantha Mursan/Guns.com)
Meanwhile, this Jawbone has a flat trigger and is wearing GForce’s own in-house pistol brace design, dubbed the “Ace of Brace” as a nod to the ‘90s kids out there. (Photo: Samantha Mursan/Guns.com)
You can store an extra mag in the Jawbone’s pistol grip, and the forward charging handle can be swapped to either side of the gun for ambidextrous function. Similarly, ambi safety selectors and bolt releases make it particularly lefty-friendly design.
MSRP for the Jawbone is expected to start at a generous $499, but you may see sub-$400 prices for real market value. The Blade6 pricing is similar. GForce is also looking at additional options for barrel lengths and even suppressor-ready packages down the road.
