New: Springfield Armory Saint Victor 8.5-inch 9mm Pistol

Running off a Colt SMG pattern mag system, the newest 9mm blowback action large format AR pistol from Springfield Armory looks both retro and modern at the same time.

Using an 8.5-inch CMV 9mm barrel with a Melonite finish and an SB Tactical SBA3 adjustable stabilizing brace, the latest Saint Victor pistol on the market hits the scales at just over 6 pounds. Featuring a 45-degree short-throw ambi safety switch and a B5 systems pistol grip, it runs an aluminum free-floated M-LOK handguard with a full-length Picatinny top rail and ends in a muzzle drum. Overall length is 25 inches with the brace extended.

Overall, it is a nice option for those who thought the company's existing 5.5-inch model could use a bit more barrel.

While the old-school straight-stick Colt SMG mag draws the eyes, note the added little tweaks to include the installed M-LOK hand stop, ambi safety selector switch, B5 Systems polymer trigger guard, and B5 Systems Type 23 P-Grip.

Chambered in 9mm, the new Springfield Armory Saint Victor 8.5-inch is a straight blowback design.

The MSRP on the new Springfield Armory Saint Victor 8.5 inch is $1,099, and it ships in a padded rifle case with a single 32-round mag. For those curious, that's the same ask as on the 5.5-inch model.
